This is a vibrant and busy unit which is situated on the ground floor.
Members and staff work alongside each other participating in all areas of the work of the unit, giving members a chance to learn new skills or develop existing ones.

The main purpose of this area is to prepare a healthy and nutritious lunch for between 20 and 30 members, staff and visitors.
This involves several tasks, including:
- Menu planning
- Budgeting; shopping
- Placing orders with various suppliers
- Preparing and serving meals
- Implementation of the HACCP system
- Cleaning
- Outreach
"Hot Kups" provides members, staff and visitors with cheap and affordable snacks and drinks for morning and afternoon tea and something to munch on throughout the day.
Both members and staff share the assorted duties required to run "Hot Kups".
This includes:
- Food preparation & serving at the counter
- Money management
- Hygiene / cleaning
- Purchasing stock & menu planning
Maintenance addresses an array of needs throughout the Clubhouse.
You may have an interest in helping to:
- Maintain the interior and exterior of the building to provide members, staff and visitors to Suaimhneas Clubhouse with a clean and pleasant environment
- Ordering cleaning supplies
- A continuing programme of minor repairs, painting and decorating
- Keeping equipment in good condition
- Cleaning our people carrier
- Gardening
